Harvested in Malawi by smallholder farmers who are part of NASFAM (National Smallholder Farmers' Association of Malawi) a democratically governed organisation owned by its members — 60% of which are women. Income from this fair trade rice means that these farming communities can invest in their businesses, educate their families, and plan for the future.
